Tuition & Fees

Tuition & Fees

What it costs to study at the School of Theology — set out plainly, by the credit hour, by the program, and by the course, as a college catalog should.

The school has filed for its Florida religious exemption; applications open once state approval is complete, and no enrollment or tuition is being accepted at this time. These are the rates that will be in effect for the school’s opening year.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” — Proverbs 4:7 (KJV)

Rates

Tuition by the Credit Hour

Tuition is charged by the credit hour, at the rate of the student’s own program level. Most courses carry 3 credit hours.

Program LevelProgramsTuition per Credit Hour
UndergraduateBoth certificates, Associate, and Bachelor programs$200
MasterMaster of Apostolic Theology$225
DoctorateDoctorate in Apostolic Theology$250

A 3-credit course therefore costs $600 at the undergraduate rate, $675 at the Master rate, and $750 at the Doctorate rate. Where a course serves more than one level, tuition is billed at the student’s degree level.

Fees

Fees

The school charges two fees only — each one time, never repeated.

FeeWhen It Is DueAmount
Application feeOne time, sent with the application when admissions open$25
Graduation feeOne time, in the student’s final term$100

Together the two fees add $125 to the total cost of any certificate or degree, as shewn in the program table below.

Programs

Cost by Program

The full cost of each certificate and degree: every required course in the program, at the program’s rate, with the two one-time fees shewn in the final column.

Program totals count required courses only. Elective courses taken as bonus study beyond a degree are billed separately, by the credit hour, at the student’s program rate.

Courses

Cost by Course

Every course in the catalog, with its credit hours and its tuition. Each course is listed once, under the first program that requires it; tuition is billed at the student’s degree level, so a course taken within a Master’s or Doctorate program is billed at that program’s rate wherever it is listed.

Notes

  • Tuition covers instruction — complete lessons, handouts, study guides, timed exams, and the oversight of the faculty over your work.
  • Books and supplies are the student’s own — each student supplies what he or she needs at home.
  • Rates are effective for the school’s opening year and apply to every student who enrolls in that year.
  • Applications are not yet open. The school has filed for its exemption under Section 1005.06(1)(f), Florida Statutes; when state approval is complete, applications will open, and those on the interest list will be notified first.
